Based in Washington, D.C., Alexandra Karabatsos serves as Director on the Federal Affairs team at Tremont Strategies Group, where she helps lead the firm's federal advocacy practice. In this role, she develops and executes strategic initiatives to advance client priorities before Congress and key federal agencies. Alex brings deep Capitol Hill experience to managing complex policy initiatives, cultivating relationships with decision-makers, and providing strategic counsel on legislative and regulatory matters across healthcare, education, housing, childcare, and other priority issue areas.

Prior to joining TSG, Alex spent more than seven years in the office of U.S. Representative Lori Trahan (MA-03), most recently as Legislative Director. In that role, she managed the Congresswoman's full legislative agenda and advised on a broad range of issues including health care, education, housing, childcare, voting rights, and women's issues. She supported the Congresswoman's work on the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health and the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade, as well as her engagement with the bipartisan Congressional Fusion Caucus and the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee.

Alex previously worked on Congresswoman Trahan's first campaign, serving as Deputy Finance Director. Prior to that role, Alex worked in fundraising at a political consulting firm in Washington, DC.
