With decades of multifaceted public service experience and deep-rooted connections in the Massachusetts political landscape, Mike is a seasoned strategist in developing and executing complex government relations campaigns at the state and local levels. As a founding partner of Tremont Strategies, his insight, personal approach, and leadership have helped shape the firm’s reputation for delivering meaningful, results-driven outcomes for clients.

Before entering the private sector, Mike served as Director of Government Affairs for Governor Deval Patrick, where he led the development and execution of the administration’s legislative and political strategy to advance key public policy priorities.

Previously, Mike was Government Affairs Director for State Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill. In that role, he played a pivotal part in reforming the state's school building assistance program—helping to establish the Massachusetts School Building Authority and resolve a $15.5 billion funding crisis.

Earlier in his public service career, Mike held leadership positions including Director of Public Affairs at the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority, Director of Community Corrections, and Assistant Deputy Superintendent of Administration and Finance for Norfolk County Sheriff Michael G. Bellotti.
