JASON ALUIA
Senior Vice President

 

Jason is a state house veteran with 25 years of experience in public policy and advocacy.

Jason previously served as the Vice President of Government and External Affairs at the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans (MAHP), a role he held for 13 years. In that position, Jason oversaw state government relations and worked with MAHP member plans to develop the strategic planning and advancement of the industry’s priorities at the State House.

Jason was the Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to former Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives Salvatore F. DiMasi. During his tenure, Jason assisted the Speaker and members of the House in passage of landmark legislation and public policy including: The Health Care Reform Act of 2006, Stem Cell Research Authorization, The Mental Health Parity Act, The Green Communities Act, and investments in Massachusetts Biotech, climate and STEM initiatives. 

Jason attended Suffolk University for Public Policy and currently serves as the chairman of the Ward 3 Democratic Committee in Boston. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NEW Health, a federally qualified health center with three locations, servicing the residents of the North End, Waterfront and Charlestown neighborhoods in the City of Boston. Jason also serves on the board of the Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus.
